Unroll.Me - Email Cleanup App Reviews

It works like it should, but eventually someone in the Philippines got my password and tried to hack my email account. Thank god Gmail stopped them and alerted me. Never using anything that asks for my email password again, and I advise you do the same. Its not that hard to manually unsubscribe from emails as you get them (all emails have na unsubscribe button at the bottom).

I dont know what they claim to unsubscribe but I still get the same emails over and over again. Seems like a waste of time....

Wont even upload from home screen page wont even delete it .... Just stays unlit up .... Does nothing.... Tried rebooting still wont do crap.... Garbage just I could trash it completely.... Bs

Then it quit working and my inbox was flooded with junk and I guess you have to redo the whole thing over again every month? Forget it.

Very disappointing! Im getting more junk mail that I was before new email subscriptions Im guessing they sold my email address to companies.

This creates more spam in my inbox. I regret using it.

I dont like that you need to give them access to all of your contacts to enroll.

Email deleted from my sent folder. Received weird emails. This is a spam!!!!

I fully recommend it, I havent seen one of the emails they unsuscribed me.

I dont get it. I downloaded the app and tried to sign up and the first thing it wants is my AOL password. Never had an AOL account in my life. Doesnt seem to be any way to get around it. Deleted it immediately.

Received more than 100 spam emails a day. Once I uninstalled the app, I still had trouble unsubscribing from all the junk. This app created more headaches!!!

I was very impressed the first time I used unroll.me, but I just tried to use it another time. Within 24 hours, I received an abundance of junk mail, dozens more than before. They had sold my email address. Please do NOT use unroll.me. Take the time to unsubscribe from the emails you dont want to receive.

I hate a messy inbox. Unroll me is the perfect app for those people who hate having 2000 emails in the inbox. Bonus: its easier to use than you would expect.

...I was not impressed by this app. The only reason I got it was because I was getting so many spam emails and no matter how many times I would send them to the junk folder, they would just keep coming back. The first time I logged in, this app did not detect the spam emails. I was pretty disappointed but about a month later... They sent me an email saying that I had 500+ emails to unsubscribe to. So I opened the app and guess what was there: All those spam emails! I unsubscribed from to all of them and my inbox looks good now. Update: I dont know what I subscribed to but the spam doesnt stop. I wish this app could literally unenroll me but it cant. Great app but Ima delete my email address.

3 out of 15 emails that it works on Sometimes. Sometimes 10 emails and the app delightedly says your email box is clear. Doesnt that feel good? Well if it were true, it would indeed. Worked for the first few days cleanup. Not well since.

It wouldnt get past the first screen that said it would take a few minutes. I waited days.

I agree with all the reviews about the added spam since using this app. Worked great for about 2 weeks until the random junk started coming directly to my inbox. I even started getting calls on my cell phone about vacations, mortgages, etc. I will definitely be deleting this app and cleaning up my inbox the old fashioned way. Will try to report this to apple as well. Great concept, but of course with some underlying scam involved.

Ive gotten way more junk email from using this app.. I bet most of the positive reviews on here are fake. Do not download.

Before I subscribed to this service my unsolicited emails were somewhat manageable but annoying. This app has triggered even more AND when you ask for an email to be removed through the app, they never go away. Start to think this was a waste of time.

I feel like my spam comes from the same places over & over. Are they truly unsubscribing me, or selling my email address? Also, the new design to unsubscribe is AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im unable to see what the email is, so I have to click into it before unsubscribing. Theres also no longer a fast way to undo the action. Please fix it back to the previous interface!
